To succeed in this role, you must bring a strong command of Java, Liferay DXP/Portal, OSGi modules, and modern web technologies, along with a deep understanding of enterprise-grade digital experience platforms. You should be comfortable designing scalable architectures, guiding complex integrations, and ensuring the platform’s performance, security, and maintainability.

As a Liferay Team Lead, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into robust, user-centric solutions. A keen eye for clean UI/UX, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to technical quality are essential to excel in this role.

Beyond delivery leadership, you’ll contribute to Inexture’s innovation initiatives through our RISE (Research, Innovation, Skill-building & Enablement) and DXP Center of Excellence programs—helping shape best practices, mentor developers, and drive continuous improvements across our Liferay ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Liferay DXP-based web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Develop custom portlets, themes, layouts, and fragments using Service Builder and OSGi modules.
• Integrate Liferay DXP with other enterprise systems (APIs, REST, SOAP, SSO, Keycloak, etc.).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code following industry best practices.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization to ensure system quality and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in Liferay DXP, OSGi, and modern web development.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous process improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical growth within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java-based web application development.
• Hands-on expertise in Liferay DXP (7.x), including:
• OSGi modules, Service Builder, MVC frameworks, Liferay Hooks, REST Builder
• AlloyUI, JSP, and Liferay Taglibs, Client Extensions
• Theme and layout customization
• Workflow Management
• Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, FreeMarker, and front-end integration.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, SSO, and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Agile workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Liferay Migration Experience.

Educational Qualification
