DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Support deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS (ECS/EKS) and/or GCP (GKE).
- Help ensure the performance and scalability of cloud environments under senior guidance.
- Build and manage Docker container solutions.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain Terraform configurations for infrastructure provisioning.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices across the team.
- Build automation workflows using Ansible for routine deployment tasks.
- Write Bash and Python scripts to automate operational tasks.
- Configure and support networking for reliable connectivity across environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Support database administration tasks, including basic exposure to vector databases.
- Assist with integration between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Support the deployment and configuration of Liferay instances.
- Implement monitoring solutions and respond to alerts.
- Troubleshoot system issues and escalate complex problems appropriately.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams during deployments.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or a related field.
- Working experience with AWS (ECS/EKS) and/or GCP (GKE).
- Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes, including troubleshooting common issues.
- Experience writing and maintaining Terraform configurations.
- Working knowledge of Docker containerization.
- Experience with Ansible for automation tasks.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Exposure to deploying or supporting Liferay environments (or willingness to learn).
- Some exposure to on-premises server environments.
- Understanding of core networking principles.
- Solid Bash scripting skills.
- Familiarity with relational databases; exposure to vector databases is a plus.
- Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS certification is a plus.
