1. What are backend development services?

Backend development services build and maintain the server-side of an application: the databases, APIs, business logic, authentication, and infrastructure that everything the user sees runs on top of. Done well, they’re what let an application stay fast, secure, and stable as its data and traffic grow.

2. What’s the difference between backend engineering and full-stack development?

Full-stack covers both the interface and the server behind it. Backend engineering goes deep on the server side alone, the architecture, data, performance, and security that carry an application at scale. For complex or high-traffic systems, that depth is usually where the hard problems live.

3. Can you improve an existing backend, or only build new ones?

Both, and improving an existing system is a large part of what we do. That ranges from refactoring slow code and tuning databases to breaking a monolith into services and migrating to cloud-native infrastructure, done in stages so the business keeps running.

4. Which backend languages and frameworks do you work with?

Mainly Python, Java Spring Boot, Node.js, and Go, chosen to fit the workload rather than out of habit. On the data side that spans PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch, with Kafka for event streaming.

5. How do you make a backend scale to millions of requests?

Through architecture rather than raw hardware: microservices that scale independently, caching, load balancing, message queues, and distributed data design. The aim is a system that grows sideways as demand climbs, instead of hitting a ceiling.

6. How do you handle backend security and compliance?

Security is built into the architecture from the start, with OAuth2, JWT, SSO, role-based access, encryption, and hardened APIs. For regulated industries we engineer to SOC2 and GDPR requirements rather than retrofitting them later.

7. Do you offer dedicated backend developers or full project delivery?

Both models are available. You can bring on dedicated backend engineers as an extension of your team, or hand over a defined build end to end. We’ll suggest whichever fits your roadmap and how much you want to keep in-house.
