We’re looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to architect and lead multi-tenant, microservices-based SaaS platforms using Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
You’ll work closely with clients, product owners, and internal R&D teams to design scalable, cloud-native systems — and contribute to AI-driven initiatives under Inexture’s RISE (Research, Innovation, Skill-building & Enablement) and AI Lab programs.

This role blends hands-on development, technical leadership, and system design at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Python.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Django and build robust RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Develop and integrate APIs using Flask or FastAPI as required by project needs.
• Understand business and client requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and implement efficient database schemas based on business requirements.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Firebase.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, testable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure application quality.
• Develop applications with scalability, reliability, security, and performance in mind.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and development practices.
• Manage source code using Git and follow proper version control practices.
• Deploy and maintain applications on servers and cloud environments such as Apache and AWS.
• Stay updated with emerging Python frameworks, development tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Python 2 and Python 3.
• Strong experience in Django web development.
• Hands-on experience in Django REST Framework and REST API development.
• Proficiency in at least one of Flask or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, exception handling, and Python programming concepts.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, scalable, testable, and efficient code.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Firebase.
• Understanding of database design, schema creation, relationships, indexing, and query optimization.
• Good understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable and maintainable applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, testing, and debugging skills.
• Experience with Python testing frameworks and standard testing practices.
• Experience with application deployment using Apache, AWS, or similar server/cloud environments.
• Good understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills with the ability to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.
