Project Overview
The goal of this project was to build a scalable and extensible crypto trading platform that delivers a seamless user experience with high backend performance. Inexture played a key role in engineering a secure, high-performance system that enables users to buy and sell crypto assets, manage wallets, and access real-time information, while ensuring minimal downtime and high throughput from backend APIs.
Our team integrated multiple payment gateways to reduce deposit downtime, built the CryptoBytes API to boost user engagement through bite-sized crypto updates, and enhanced the notification system for better user communication. We also handled regular bug fixes and feature enhancements to ensure smooth, uninterrupted trading experiences.
Purpose
The core objective of this project was to enhance reliability and user trust by minimizing downtime during deposits and withdrawals. We addressed this by integrating multiple payment gateways, ensuring seamless transaction experiences even when one gateway faced issues.

Business Challenge
As India’s crypto landscape rapidly evolved, the client faced critical operational and compliance challenges in maintaining a seamless user experience. Given the unregulated nature of the market and frequent changes in government policies, ensuring uninterrupted transactions and platform stability became increasingly complex.
The challenges were as follows:
- Unstable Payment Gateway Ecosystem
Frequent disruptions in payment services due to regulatory shifts required a smart fallback system. The platform needed a reliable retry mechanism to detect failures and reroute transactions through alternate gateways instantly.
- Targeted Notification Management
There was a need to build a dynamic notification system to deliver relevant, real-time updates to users based on activity, preferences, and compliance conditions.
- Regulatory Restrictions Enforcement
Ensuring user-level restrictions in compliance with RBI, SEBI, or banking regulations required tailored access controls and logic-based rule engines within the app.
- Coin Listing API Optimization
High-traffic demands from both native and third-party platforms like Times of India meant the coin listing API had to deliver real-time data efficiently, without lag or performance issues.
The goal was to overcome these hurdles and deliver a secure, responsive, and compliant crypto trading experience at scale.
Our Solution
To overcome the technical and compliance challenges in a volatile crypto environment, our team delivered tailored backend and API solutions that improved system resilience, regulatory handling, and user engagement. The focus was on stability, real-time responsiveness, and modular feature development.

- Multi-Gateway Deposit System
We integrated several payment gateways with a smart allocation model. If one gateway failed, transactions would automatically reroute to others, ensuring high deposit uptime and user trust.
- Compliance-Based User Restriction Logic
We added conditional checks within the transaction flows to block or unblock users based on real-time compliance rules. These rules aligned with RBI and banking guidelines, ensuring operational integrity.
- CryptoBytes API for User Engagement
We built a custom API to show personalized crypto updates, event announcements, and reward summaries. These were displayed as interactive banners on the homepage, similar to short news feeds, encouraging frequent app visits.
- Optimized Home Experience
Through lightweight, fast-loading APIs and clean UI integrations, we ensured users received relevant coin data, wallet info, and content with minimal latency across platforms.
This modular and resilient approach helped the client scale securely, comply with regulations, and maintain a high-quality trading experience.
Key Challenges
One of the primary challenges was integrating new payment gateways into an already active ecosystem without disrupting ongoing transactions. Due to restrictions, availability issues, and frequent policy shifts from gateway providers, we had to implement smart routing, fallback mechanisms, and strict capping rules to ensure system stability.
Maintaining high throughput and handling concurrent transactions at scale was another technical hurdle. The platform needed to support thousands of operations per second without lag or downtime, demanding tight API optimization and backend performance tuning.
Beyond technical tasks, the project also required a deep understanding of financial regulations and legal compliance. Every major change, especially in the transaction or wallet modules, had to pass multiple levels of review, including code quality checks, deployment policies, and financial validations, before moving to production.
